![]() ![]() ![]() I started my initial play through on Intermediate difficulty, which is not recommended. I was really surprised just how enjoyable it was. I just need to get passed the initial grind, I'm hoping there is a lot of enjoyable stuff to experience.Īnyone else spend some time with this? What are your thoughts? How is it compared to Tokyo Rumble? There are a lot of extra modes and stuff to unlock, as well as a really solid fighting engine underneath it all. Visually, the game looks great, good use of 3D, animations are varied, funny, and plentiful, and the sound is good. I DO really enjoy the way the game gives you in-game time (3 days) to complete the game, but allows you to do whatever you want. The fighting, at least up to this point, is less enjoyable than Tokyo Rumble, only because It's so damn long and grindy. I am able to beat the opponents up, but I feel like I'm just fighting forever. All the enemies just have tons of health, and you deal really low levels of damage for the first hour or two of play, but the enemies can pound you into oblivion and come in packs of 4 and 5. It's by no means an easy game, and it's a very unfair kind of difficult. It's interesting that Kunio spends a great deal of the beginning of the game just getting wrecked. There is some really grindy aspects of it. I was wondering if anyone else had a chance to play it. ![]()
